$1 Million In Funding Closed

I am pleased to announce that we have reached a funding milestone of $1 million from notable investors such as Nat Turner and Zach Weinberg, co-founders of Flatiron Health (a Google Ventures led recipient of $130 million in Series B funding), Vivek Garipalli, co-founder of CarePoint Health, Arnold Schaeffer, founder of Spring Valley Capital and an original senior executive at VeriSign, and Galvanize Ventures.

The continued support from investors and partners is a strong indicator that trends toward consumer-directed healthcare and the trend toward shared decision-making and prescription cost savings is on the rise. For example, CMS recently announced they will be adding Accountable Care Organization incentive measures that will include a measure on whether “patients say providers educated them about the cost of medications.” Altarum also recently released a new report that finds that the more engaged patients are, the more likely they are to ask about cost and more likely to use cost-transparency tools. Health economist Jane Sarasohn-Kahn has a nice write-up of the report. According to Jane, “the math calculates to 9 in 10 Americans seeking major roles in medical decisions,” including joint decisions between patients and providers around medications. These are just a few data points in the market that support the upward trajectory of RxREVU.

In the meantime, I want to thank our team, investors and partners for joining us on this journey to make a meaningful and quantifiable difference in the healthcare system. If you are interested in how RxREVU can help your organization reduce medication costs, we invite you to contact us.
